The Buffini Chao Foundation is a non-profit organisation helping children and teenagers in Great Britain by giving them access to education, culture, sports and work opportunities. We got really excited when we were commissioned to create the brand strategy for this charitable organisation, as this was the first time we were going to be working for the third sector.
The Buffini Chao Foundation was a relatively
unknown, low profile organisation in the enormous and quite competitive charity category in the UK. We thought it would be helpful and appropriate for the brand to reflect the magnetic and powerful personality of the trustees of the organisation, Sir Damon Buffini and Deborah Chao. After all, Sir Buffini’s own personal story is that of the self-made man, a tale of talent and hard-work that is the best inspiration for all the kids supported by the foundation.
